Mike Schutlz from Pheasants Forever gave the board an update on CRP projects in the Lake Washington watershed.  He shared with us the letter that is sent to landowners. He has 3 contracts for reenrollment for 60.2 acres.  There are other projects he is working on and will share more information when he comes back in the fall.

OLD BUSINESS: LVMP meeting scheduled for May 2 - 10 am at Hutchinson DNR office, Steve and Ken will attend.

2011 Directory - Cathy Klehr has 399 names and addresses confirmed and print ready for the directory.  She has 12 names she is not able to verify at this time.  Kim W. has been getting ads and she is sending them to Ken K.  Steve Grotbo has been helping format the ads.  We need at least 40 advertisers.  Kim W. has many looking advertising, just need to get the ads done and formatted.  Goal is to have the directory ready by the end of April and ready for delivery the first part of June.

Watercraft inspection grant was not given to Lake Washington for 2011, because there were many applicants and we didn’t meet the criteria.

Website Update: Updated Government Officials list and will have Jen K. update Shoreline Captains list.

NEW BUSINESS: Annual Meeting May 7 - Pat Hanson, John Fink, Steve Grotbo, and Ken Khler terms are up this year and all have said they would continue on the board.  We will ask for members from the floor to join the board.  The agenda will be: 5 pm Social Hour; 6 Dinner; 6:30 start program (Committee Reports, Meeker County Sheriff’s Water Patrol) updating water craft safety and laws.  John Fink has ordered pork chops, potato salad, beans, buns, and brownies.  Cooks will arrive at 4:00 and volunteers at 4:30 to set up.

Spring Newsletter will be going out the middle of April.  Board ok’d list of government and interested people that we send newsletters to.  Rick has redone the postcard with updated information.  Kim W. will get newsletters to be stuffed.

PLM - LWIA has a five year contract with them (this is the 4th year). They will continue water quality testing at the same price as last year.  AIS chemical application will be at $455 per acre.  We will be applying to treat 70 acres at a total cost of $31,850.

Board decided to schedule our next meeting after the Annual meeting.
